Having landed a job as safety manager at Reno Disposal, I had to learn about OSHA regulations so I enrolled in the Truckee Meadows Community College’s Occupational Safety Program.
I got the “letter” when i completed 12 units and my husband talked me into joining PTK. There were 2 active members plus me made 3. We went to the Dallas International Convention in the mid 90s. I got hooked.
I held every office in the chapter and was a Regional NV VP and Regional Secretary. I moved to Arizona because of my job in 2002. Moved back to CA in 2004 and joined NVCAAA where only myself and Sandy were active.
I have held several positions but mostly secretary. I tried to retire, lasted about a year and half and now I am back.
I love PTK and promote it at every chance I get.
